humbletech99 Posted February 24, 2006 Report Share Posted February 24, 2006 Hi,I've got vnc server 4 installed as a service and set to automatic on windows xp with fast user switching enabled. Whenever I connect to vnc, if it is open on user1 account it is fine and works, but if it open on my user2 account, i connect, but the screen goes immediately to the logon screen, locking the user2's session and if I try to log in as user2 at the welcome screen, the login goes through and the vnc session is immediately terminated. But if I log in as user1 over vnc I get it goes through successfully.This actually used to be the other way round, where vnc only worked for user2 and locked when trying to vnc while the user1 was loggged in. homecomputeraid Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 Do both users have administrative rights on the PC?I don't personally like the fast switching option, because each user can have applications left open while another user logs in.
