BP1986 Posted March 15, 2006 Report Share Posted March 15, 2006 I have been having some security issues in my house and I was wondering if it was there was a setting or even a side program that would form a log of every attempt for a login (date, time, ect.), so I can improve the security of this computer by seeing if anyone was on it and take actions accordingly. Success Audit (Security log) An event that describes the successful completion of an audited security event. For example, a Success Audit event is logged when a user logs on to the computer. Failure Audit (Security log) An event that describes an audited security event that did not complete successfully. Shouldn't my security log be full of info like the other two logs? I find it kind of strange that one log is empty or is there some other setting that I need to change.Also, yes I do have Windows XP Professional SP2. Sorry about that.
