Allain Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 Hi, my PC randomly stops for a second or two, during which the sound goes like "drrrrrrrrrr". These short freezes seem to come fairly random, but I've noticed them mostly while playing WoW and WC3 (on BNET). Also when my Firefox browser is loading a page. When typing something in the MSN Messenger window, and sometimes while just playing music. I've scanned for viruses and defragmented. It seems that restarting the computer helps, so I though it had something to do with temperature. But if I leave it on for a while, the problem still occures, but usually dissappear when I restart. While checking it I expirienced some of these freezes while I was: - Clicking quicklig back and forth between "Program" and "System" sub menus- While watching some movie on www.gamespot.com- And once while I was listening to music.
