Windows Media Player 10 Movie End/Close Window Delay!?

Hey there,

I noticed the strangest thing that i did not have a while back.

Whenever i like to watch a movie which is short i usually close it right away when its finished.

Normally Windows Media Player will let me do this.

But now i have to wait a couple of seconds every time before the window will close.

Its like in the end, when the time slider on the bottom of the screen should go back to zero.

It takes a while for it to do it. This never used to be the case.

I tried reinstalling my DivX codecs and also reinstaller Windows Media Player 10, both havent helped one bit.

Anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

I hope this is not realted to my new graphics cards Purevideo function.

(Its a 7800GS which i just got last week).

Are you using Windows Media Player 10?

You might want to try the free alternative, Media Player Classic from gabest.

Media Player Classic Home - It's free, lightweight and does everything Windows Media Player does.

Well not to be a bitch..

But im the kind of person that always likes to see things fixed rather then avoided or surrounded.

Therefore i was really hoping someone could help me out with this issue.

That doesnt take away the fact that i will try out the third party player later on maybe, but actually im the kind of person that is very fond of windows normal programs. :)
