gOnE_BloW_iT_uP Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 Well I just built a new computer, and the first thing I did was install Windows XP Pro. Yet I now (...a week later :) ...) I have Windows Media Center 2005, and I do not know how to upgrade to the Media Center. I place the first installation CD into the cd drive, and all of a sudden eevrything slows down, and nothing loads. Scarecrow man: My computer was built by myself, and I purchased the Windows Media Center cd to just install it on the new computer. I know for a fact that it should install, because I bought the same exact software as my freind, and he has been able to install it on his self-built computer. Do you guys think that maybe I should try to reformat and start all the way over, or should there be a way to fix this problem without having to?
