USMT 2.6

Hi.

I´m study the USMT.

I have the USMT 2.6 installed on a Windows 2000 ( installed on a Virtual PC).

Then i modify some user settings and on the command window i have did this:

C:\USMT\Bin>scanstate /i:migapp.inf /i:sysfiles.inf /o k:\inf

ScanState is running...

Processing INF files... 100%

Processing INF files... 100%

Computing what settings to collect... 30%

Computing estimates...

Scanning the system...m

Computing what settings to collect... 100%

Computing estimates... 100%

Scanning the system...

Resolving conflicts... 100%

Transporting data... 100%

The tool completed successfully.

C:\USMT\Bin>scanstate /i:migapp.inf /i:sysfiles.inf /o /all k:\inf

ScanState is running...

Processing INF files... 100%

Processing INF files... 100%

Computing what settings to collect... 30%

Computing estimates...

Scanning the system...

Computing what settings to collect... 100%

Computing estimates... 100%

Scanning the system...

Resolving conflicts... 100%

Transporting data... 100%

The tool completed successfully

k: is the path to the place where the files are copied

Then when i open the Windows XP Professional (installed on a Virtual PC), i do this on the command line:

C:\USMT\Bin>loadstate /i miguser.inf k:\inf

LoadState is running...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loadstate INF switches are not available when compression is used.

I this sentence means?
