Windows Problems

Hello,

A while back, I made a posting here about a problem I was experiencing (here). That one turned out to be a driver problem due to my ATA hard drive, but now I am experiencing frequent crashes again. As far as I can tell, there is no common root in any of the crashes. Is there something I can use to find out what's going on when it crashes, and try to analyze it from there? My ultimate fear is that there is still some hardware damage leftover from the incident mentioned in the thread I linked to.
