Shockwave message.

Recommended Posts

On some sites I get the following message.

You do not have the latest version of FLash installed. Please click here to go and get it

When I obey, I am informed that the installation was successful and I see a rectangle revolve. However, whatever I am trying to access repeats the above message. I have tried several times uninstalling Shockwave and reinstalling but still get the same problem. Any solution please folks?

Flash and Shockwave are two different products with different installs.

I uninstalled Macromedia again, and then deleted remaining files in Start/Windows Explorer/C/Windows/System 32. /Macromedia. I did this after creating a System Restore point of course. All works fine now.
