mmmbisto
I'm working on my shop at the moment, trying to make it look as professional as I can. Or at leas a little pleasing to the eye!I have an access database set up for all orders I receive. This will obviously generate an autonumber which will be the order number :) I can then add everyone's information and find out what I need to know like how they paid, when I shipped out their order, when I received their payment etc.I'm about to start an excel sheet for expenditures and income for the shop too. Having a little problem trying to figure out how I'm gonna do it (lay it out etc)Any other ideas I can use? I'm trying to do this all the right way and make it easier for me also. mmmbisto
It's up now :) yaaaaaaaaaaay, lol :lol:I've made some banners, and now it's time to plug!! I know a girl who has a banner advertising service $25 for 6 months, so I may just do that, and go to my board haunts

Guest Nellie2
And perhaps a little velvet cushion to put your peices on when you photograph them??? Presentation is half the battle I think! ;)

mmmbisto
Yup, you're right Damo :)It's not my fault I'm all sweet and innocent ;) Explained the whole story to a mate at work and once she stopped laughing at me told me what it was. Have changed all the banners lol. That means I'll have to change the layout at the domain as well! Whoops! Actually it'll more than likely be up a week or so and I'll want to change it again so I can't be bothered to change it. It's only a minor hiccup. Thanks for the suggestion Nellie. I don't have a velvet cushion, but I do have a starsandmoon one. Could be an idea!

artist
I had a good look at everything. It's really attractive - and cheap! I would have thought it would sell well. Are you going to try for some craft fairs too?Good luck with the venture! :)
mmmbisto
Thanks artist! I was hoping to do a couple of car boot sales or something but I haven't seen any advertised at the local school yet.
