Gorman
I was prompted to downolad the windows media player 10 when I signed on the other day. I agreed. All went well with the download. (I think.) When the machine attmpted to install it got most of the way there and before I got an error message saying there was an application error. It would not complete the installation. If I attempt to opoen medial player it gives that same error message. Any thoughts? I run windows xp home and really do not know what version of the player I had before then. andsome
A system restore is the first thing to try. Otherwise if you go to control panel and uninstall it, it will revert to the previous version. I would try the system restore first, as the corrupt installation may not uninstall cleanly.
