Gibsotron Posted June 18, 2006 Report Share Posted June 18, 2006 Hey everyone, just joined these forums. Anyways, I have an outstanding problem that i was hoping someone would know something about. I've had many computer experts come and look at it, never with any results. Anyways, the problem is that whenever I startup my computer it will be fine for a few minutes then it will issue a weird beeping noise and the backround will change to grey and the toolbar to silver. Even if my speakers are off or not plugged in, the tower will still isue a beep. This all started a couple years back after I downloaded a Midnight Club backround for Rockstargames.com, a trusted website. Although this isn't a terribly serious problem, it can be really annoying and definately decreases preformance for a couple minutes as it is changing. Thanks for the help, guys. A week after I got this computer is also stopped being able to stand-by or hybernate. I think I'm probably too lazy to reinstall windows just for those couple problems though...non of them really affect the computer too much to be overly annoying.....
