psychtester Posted June 21, 2006 Report Share Posted June 21, 2006 Aloha to all:Here is my problem. I had a Windows XP crash and had to reinstall Windows XP again. I made sure that the reinstall left the files. I now have a situation where I boot up Windows and it has two Windows XP showing, and asking which one I want to start. Both show no files (e.g., Word, Excel). However, when I double click the C: HD I see all of the files. I realize that somehow the Windows I installed did not sync with the files as it normally should have. My question is how to remedy the problem. Is there a way to remove the current Window applications and then reinstall Windows again? Or do I need to go the long road and load all of the software programs on one of the Windows application? If so, how do I delete the 30GB's of files from the C: disk (better yet, how is it possible to have two C: drives at the same time?).Mahalo,Tom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But you seem to use Windows' own boot manager.
