clkanski
I am trying a new wireless internet service in my area, and I'm not having the best luck. They are a small startup, so support from them is limited. It is a wireless broadband (ok, 256 kb... but still better than dialup) company.I brought the modem home and plugged it into the wall, and then to my ethernet card, and everything worked fine. I should've stopped there, and left everything alone. I noticed it was only connecting at 1 bar out of 5 bars. It has a status LED on the front of the device. So I unplugged the modem and moved it closer to the window, and ran a cable over to my desk. Since then, I cannot communicate with it any longer. I've tried releasing the IP address and renewing it, I have my computer set up for DHCP, I've tried anything they have told me. I can no longer talk to the modem. Is there anything else I can try? ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
How about this:Remove the modem form your machineUninstall its drivers, if anyDo a System Restore to the point before the first installThen start again the same way as the first time (adhering to the manual's installation instructions)
