Remove drivers from different partition?

Hi there,

it's 4 am, and i am very tired. I have spent the last night trying to get Windows working again, after it went down. I'm using Windows XP SP2 Proffessional (Eng). Here's what happened in short: i had to re-install the chipset driver for my motherboard (doesn't really matter, but it's an ASUS A8N SLI motherboard with a NForce4 chipset). The installation went fine. I rebooted. But then it went bad. Whenever i tried to boot Windows, it would give me a bluescreen, with a message about some drivers not being unloaded correctly, and reboot. I tried to boot Safe Mode, but to no avail. Same result. Tried to repair Windows with a Windows CD, but that didn't prevent the bluescreen either (it still happens just after the Windows logo shows up). Long story short, i ended up with re-sizing my Linux partition, creating a new NTFS partition in the now free space and installing a new Windows which i could boot. I can now access all my files on my original Windows partition, but i would still like it to work. It's a pain to re-install all my programs. So i was wondering, is there a way to remove the drivers in question (NForce drivers) from my original (C:) partition, while booting my new (H:) partition? And if not, is there any other way to get my C: partition to be bootable again? Oh right, btw, after repairing C: with a Windows CD i could boot Safe Mode but it just told me that setup couldn't run in safe mode and rebooted. Sigh.
