bastien86
I wish to connect my xbox 360 to my laptop and share my wireless network connection , which goes to my router. This will save me the trouble of running a 50' cable through my house. However when i try to enable sharing on the wireless card on my laptop it gives me an error. The exact message i forget but its something along the lines of ... "An error occured... The IP used for automatic ip addressing is already in use on your LAN" I did some research and found ICS uses 192.168.0.1 which is the ip of my router. So i then changed my router to 192.168.0.2 and made the ip addresses it gives out to be greater than 192.168.0.110, so none of my computers on my router will have same ip as the ICS setups. Still i get the same error...Does anybody know how to set up ICS behind a router ? Thank you,-Ronnie
homecomputeraid
I'm not sure whether you want ICS configured on the wireless card or the Ethernet Card. Are you using a crossover cable between the xbox 360 and your laptop?
