BloodWaker
hello, i'm new to this forum, and in computers.. i know a little, but.i'm wondering, what eats up my CPU? when i have no programs running. i still have at least 5% when i play games. Warcraft. etc. it always spikes up to 100% CPU, and then it jumps down. i'm wondering why that happens. in 10 seconds, there's this rough playing for 9 seconds, and only 1 second of smooth running, and it repeats. i'm very curious of what's going on? can someone help? my laptop can run it easily. when i play GunZ, my computer supports the video on normal/high. but when i lower it to low, it still does the same thing as to any other game i play.//sorry for long paragraph, just need to find a solution to this. Thanks in Advance.Info:Sony Viao K Series PCG=K45512 RAMATI Radeon IGP 345M3.2GHz Pentium
GuitarManNickS
im not really sure, but i think that it could be the programs u got running in the taskbar ........ for example if u use limewire, and u just clicked on the X button on the top of the screen .... it doesnt mean it completely stopped ....... it just minimizes itself to the taskbar ...... u have to right click on it and select EXIT to make it completely stop ...... its the same with many other software like iTunes, Quicktime, Nero, S3drivers, Vinyldrivers etc ...... before u start the game, just exit from whtever u have runnning in ur taskbar .....
