I'm not a tech or computer whiz, but you're supposed to be able to boot into Safe Mode and fix things from there. Also, you may need to do a Fix from the CD that XP came from. That's all I can think of right off the bat.I did a full install in windows xp (sp2). As I was installing the other programs that I use, I have run into a problem. A certified Windows XP CD, or did you install it from one computer to another? Also, the programs that you installed...were they original installations, or did you do a backup from one computer and are now attempting to install them on a different computer? You have to be more specific about exactly what you were doing and how you were doing it for anyone to be able to help you. :-)
