mnichollsuk
HeyI have an XBOX360 and needed to buy Windows Media Centre to allow full video streaming from my PC to my XBOX, so i bought an OEM version of eBay.It arrived, i installed it and everything worked perfecly apart from i get a message saying my video card drivers are not compatiable with WMC, so as my graphocs card was not that good, i went out and bought a HD Ready ATI Radeon 1600 Pro PCIe Card, and i staill get the same message? Its not the end of the world as i have full funcinality on my XBOX which is the main thing, but i cannot play any videos at all on my PC.I am not to bothered, but can anyone confirm, will Vista be more happy with different hardware? And is it possible to legally download the beta version of Vista? Many Thanks
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Do you have the correct drivers installed with your graphics card(s) ? Remember it was not the graphic card that WMC was objecting to, but the driver.

Then install the drivers to the new graphics card...!If in doubt , Uninstall drivers to the new card and the onboard , Then restart your computer and reinstall the drivers for the new card...I am not to bothered, but can anyone confirm, will Vista be more happy with different hardware? And is it possible to legally download the beta version of Vista? Many ThanksI wouldn't do that if i were you.... ;)
