I am unable to connect to my networked computers. Two of my computer are runnning windows xp pro, one w/ sp1 and the other w/ sp2. Both of these computer can connect to each other using the microsoft networking client. But (there's always a but) my computer running windows xp x64 edition can not connect to the computers. I know what the problem is... its the "client for microsoft networks" its not installed. If i try to install it i get an error and it goes like this -- "Could not add the requested component. The error is: The remote procedure call failed." -- other than the fact that it didnt install i have no idea what is going on. Please help.
