Zoidberg Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 Hey,My mates computer was getting a BSOD death with we fixed by changning the ram and removing the front usb cables off the motherboard, but here is the strange thing. As soon as I gave it back to him he said its restarts automatically and sometimes it will turns on at times. I've attached a few minidump files because a few times he got the message of "a serious problem as occured" hopefully someone can look at them for me and please tell me what is going on..ThanksOh I should add it has restarted while burning a DVD and in the middle of playing a game.Minidump.zip Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can you tell us the message that appears at the top of the BSOD rather than sending the dump files?Anything in event viewers that may tell us anything? Zoidberg Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 Ok I've tested the motherboard outside of the case and the easy tune for gigabyte is sounding off straight away as it loads up XP.
