EddieG
Once in a while my laptop keyboard goes heywire in the middle of my working in Excel. All of a sudden it's like the cap lock is on but it's not and if I press enter funny letters pop up, I can't move the curser without highlighting a bunch of stuff, etc.I don't believe it's a virus because I've completely wiped my hard drive clean and reinstalled everything including Norten & SpySweeper but it still happens once in a while. When it happens I have to shut down and restart which usually takes care of it. I think it might have something to do with me hitting a certain combination of keys which sends it into this weird way of being. ANY THOUGHTS??? djohn
Hello EddieG an welcome to the forum. It might just be a case of your touchpad and/or keyboard drivers playing up. Have you tried removing them from device manager then rebooting to reinstall them?
