inca Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 :( Well it looks as if I can not connect on to the internet at home. Can any one help me with this issue. I have a cable modem that connects me however when I try to repair the line this is the error message I get: under the Repair 1394 connection it is saying Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action can not be completed, TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection. Cannot proceed for assitance contact a the person who manages your network or your friendly neighborhood Windows Forum expert can some one help, also when I try to repair through MSN it is saying I have no IP Address what does this all mean Thank you Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dadyassa Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 Not too fluent myself but more techie people will be in later.If it connects you, why are you trying a repair ?Have you checked in Control panel, Network connection, then right click on the icon and in the properties scroll down the list and check if their is a tick in the TCP/IP box.
