Rexisfed Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2006 Microsoft's Validation tool does not work for me, and I even tried it from the Microsoft Canadian download site, but nothing is working. This is getting really frustrating, I just set up a World of Warcraft account yesterday to play with my friend and I can't play all because this simple program won't work.I just tried downloading it again and still the same error. If it will not run, it strongly suggests that there is something amiss. If you are certain that you have a genuine copy of Windows installed, I suggest you contact Microsoft to check what is wrong. http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/faq.aspxIt could be an error in the way your O/S is installed or something that has failed that is giving this response but, you certainly should be able to use the validation tool.Are you able to install Windows updates?
