humbletech99
I've got a server that I have just given a second ip to and tested that both work. However it does not appear in ipconfig/all at all, only the second (new) ip adress address appears, misleading as the primary and more important address.Any ideas? This is a windows 2003 dc btw. cozofdeath
How did you assign the second ip? Are you doing an ipconfig /all?

cozofdeath
Can you run a ipconfig /all > somefile.txt and post the results here. Also another really useful network tool is Network Diagnostics. You can run it by typing "netsh diag gui" in a command prompt and when the Help and Support window pops up click Scan your system now and if anything under Modems and Network Adapters fails post what it is on here.
