Windows Firewall via Group Policy

Recommended Posts

I'm in an Active Directory 2003 domain want to allow all ports on my windows workstations accessible to all other machines on the local subnet as well as two other subnets that are connected. I've gone into the domain Group Policy and under Windows Firewall -> Domain Profile I have enabled Allow Local Port Exceptions and Define Port Exceptions. I have then added a rule as follows:

*:*:192.168.1.0/24,192.168.1.2/24:enabled:Allow All Internal

But I don't think this has the desired effect. The problem is that it does no validation to tell me if what I am doing is right. I think it is not.

Can anyone tell me how to allow all ports for my local subnets?
