antgills1 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 Im having a problem with my internet explorer at the mo. I basically was downloading some windows updates on the microsoft website and suddenly an update appeared about internet explorer 7. I already had this so i cancelled the download. Now having done this my computer has reverted back to explorer 6. This is not the problem though as when i connect to the internet its ok in version 6 but if another internet window is opened the whole thing buggers up and freezes requiring myself to ctrl-alt-del the thing. All i think is that if i can successfully install explorer 7 then this problem will fix itself but when i try to microsoft insists on opening another window and we're back to square one. AlanHo Posted November 21, 2006 Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 What you should now do - if you don't already do it - is get a copy of Acronis and take regular system back-ups onto a second hard disc or removable media.You will need it sooner or later - for certain.
