captna
Is there a way to burn a long file name to a cd or dvd using Sonic RecordNow?I'm using an older version ,4.10,and it will not copy long file names but doesn't list the name of the file it rejects and I waste a lot of time finding and renaming files. The same thing occurs with HP DLA.I use Win.XP SP2
cozofdeath
You'll probably have to shorten the file names manually or with a program. I just tried creating a long file name and burning it with Sonic. Windows even had a hard time recognizing it most of the time. Sonic gave me an error and popped the cd out. babysun
If there are too much files, then of course it will be hectic to change file names manually. I am using Nero Burning for this and never had a problem with long-long file names. If you can just try Nero, will be much helpful.
