cozofdeath Posted November 30, 2006 Report Share Posted November 30, 2006 If you shutdown or disconnect improperly yes your ip will remain in use untill the dhcp server queries and finds its no longer in use or you renew but the time it takes to query that computer is what ever the system admin wants it to be and the size of the network.
