Urgent - Wmi Problems

Guest Damo

After doing a bit of digging I have another possible answer.....

Here is a response from Microsoft:

The one time when this was investigated, the process has loaded an interception

dll with a random name, causing the crash. The common denominator was a

dll with extension TMP.  This was confirmed to be a virus later on.

Can you do an antivirus scan and confirm if you can see this random DLL name

in crash data ?

Give it a try, make sure your AV is upto date and run a FULL scan. Pay particular attention to *.tmp files (ie Temporary Internet Files)

Cheers

Damo
