MegaDT Posted December 18, 2006 Report Share Posted December 18, 2006 Hi, I want to reformat my computer, but I'm having issues with the XP professional CD I have. The computer keeps blue screening after it loads all the drivers after I do the boot from CD saying something is wrong with the BIOS. It's an older version that came out in 2002, but the computer I'm on has a version of XP Home from 2005. I've installed this CD before on another computer so it seems to still be working. Any ideas? Any ideas?Not an answer but, are you saying that this copy is being used already on another machine?If so then, unless you have a viable Product Key for another installation, you are wasting your time as the new installation will not activate and will become useless after 30 days.When it fails, what is message on the blue screen?
