mozza
This window pops up after boot up:- WINDOWS DEFENDER : Application failed to initialize 0x800106ba. Problem caused Windows Defender to stop. To start the service, restart the computer or search Help and Support on how to start a service manually. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Hello, and welcome to the Windows Forum!Do you run by any chance still the beta version of Windows Defender? The beta version expires today, and it won't start. If this is the case, uninstall the version you have, then download and install the latest version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...a4-f7f14e605a0dPlease note that WD now can only be installed on Windows XP-SP2, Windows Server 2003-SP1, and Vista.
