Robertlx
Hey everybody. Im looking for help. I really dont want to reinstall everything again. Heres the deal. All the .mpg movies I have recorded with my digital camera only show up as less then half the original size. Does that make sense. It only plays less then half the video then it freezes the picture, but the audio keeps going. For example, a 1minute 28second movie only plays for 17 seconds, but the audio keeps going. I was using WMP 10. I upgraded to WMP 11, hoping it would do something to fix it. No such luck. I can play the whole video in Quicktime without a hitch. All 1:28 of it. So its not the data. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks for reading.
Alexis Blaze
what is the video codec?? maybe you don't have the necesarry codec to play the video... try downloading codec files like K-lite mega codec pack / K-lite codec pack... Robertlx
Thanks for the replies. I downloaded the k-lite pack. The videos work in the k-lite media player, but not in the WMP. Do I have to tell the WMP that its there some how. Do I have to install them like they were plug-ins?
