teekay_tk
Hi allA few days back I got a USB Bluetooth adapter to use as a serial port for my Bluetooth serial port device. Every time I pair a device with it assignes it a higher COM PORT number. Its on COM40 now. Yesturday I needed to use a device that would only accpet COM1-COM4. I rememebred some link I saw on the net that had direction to clear your COM port assignement list in the Windows Registry so that the next time a lower number of COM port is assigned. Unfortunately I have been unable to find the procedure again. Can you help, or do you have a better way of doing this?ThanksTK
