Command Prompt Startup

Recommended Posts

My friends computers is infected with virus and i'm trying to clean it..

I want to delete all the virus files and registry before the virus startup when windows start, so i need to startup the computer in command prompt ( not the GUI )..

I've try using "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" at boot options, but it only works in one computer and failed in the other four... when i try it in the other four, "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" is acting like "Safe Mode" ( it bring up the GUI ), so the virus is active and i can't clean it... anybody knows why this happen?? or is there any other way to startup windows in command prompt...
