When I install the Japanese software it comes up as jiberish (//////////////????????******* etc.) and I can't read any of the menus, and in some cases the installation fails, thus I'm not able to use some of my hardware. If you go to the windows update site there are various language definitions you can download. Trouble is I think you will need to be able to read Japanese to follow the instructions on your software.
