Guest Phil930
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh OPTICAL ALL THE WAY!!!i have a mircosoft optical mouse (model no. i am unsure), it is so good! its those little things like the quality of your keyboard, mouse or speakers that really finish off a pc!i have never experienced lag with my optical mouse and would never go back to the rollerball ones! why, they were always crap!! optical seemed to sort out all their issues! also, with two side buttons on my mouse it is perfect for gaming as they can be used for leaning left and right or any command you might enjoy!! i personally relish the ability to be able to lean that easily!on a serious unsarcastic note though, optical mice are superb!! i won't hear a bad word against them!! subject closed!!!

Guest maby66
Phil930 - I'd be interested in the bindings for the lean on the side keys of your mouse - I have copied key bindings into my RTCW .CFG, but have never picked one up from scratch - can you explain or point me in the direction of a how-to?Cheers
Guest Phil930
the bindings?? i'm sorry you've lost me there! someone else might know.all i did was assign certain commands to certain buttons on the mouse. the mouse i use is the Mircosoft Intellimouse Optical. with windows XP no extra drivers were required to make these buttons work in games.if u want to know anything more ask away. i don't know if this helped or not. what do you mean by bindings?? Tankus
I use a microsoft optical thumb ball.....The best rodent I've ever had....And the longest lasting......If you want a good piece of kit which (I've found) reducing the onset of RSI in FPS ,check out the Belkin Nostromo, for left hand movement controls......http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage...E%2EingTools%2F
