JesseBassett Posted March 2, 2007 Report Share Posted March 2, 2007 hello, I have a Video 30GB Ipod and it is installed properly on my machine (see my sig for specs). Yet when I go to listen to it, I can only hear out of one headphone bud. I've tried 3 different sets of headphones..... same issue. The techie at my school said I need to take it to the Apple Store, but I am out of warranty and can't afford a new MP3 player. On a CD player or computer my headphones work fine. Raddy Posted April 12, 2007 Report Share Posted April 12, 2007 Sounds like a bad contact on the headphone jack itself. The only suggestion I have is to open up the iPod (if you know how), and clean/replace the jack itself. Another suggestion might be when you have the headphones plugged in and its only coming out of one, try rotating the plug in the jack; sometimes that helps.
