artiom
Hi there,Do you know, what might be the problem with my sound, when it doesn't work from time to time after starting?I look if the sound isn't muted, i check the sound and audio devices, and there is no sound driver, i reboot and the sound is working. But the next time all the same thing... Your suggestions?
Alan2273
Have you tried uninstalling the sound drivers then reinstalling them in case they have become corrupted.
artiom
Yea, i've tried this, i've reinstalled the whole windows, the drivers came then from a support disc. Lately i've downloaded a new version of a drive from Windows internet support. But the sound still doesn't work :(
artiom
What could it be? I mean it's not the way it should function. I've got to reboot it every time
Rebel=UK=
what kind of sound card is it? might be better going to the card makers site rather than micro$oft
cozofdeath
Have you checked the event viewer for any errors? If you need help finding the event viewer, click the Start button, go to Run and type eventvwr. Click each log file on the left and in the right pane it will list any errors.
artiom
I checked in eventviewer, but it looks like no sound errors were indicated. I'll try rather to go to the manufacturers forum, and ask there. The sound card is intergrated in motherboard and comes from Via Technology, i think. Thanks for the support
