What is going on with my User Accounts?

I got my new Dell set up last week and have slowly been reloading software onto Vista Home Premium (with occassional problems).

After installing some of the software I noticed something strange.

When I was setting up Windows I created three user accounts:

Dazzo - Admin account

Jill - My wife's account

Mike - My account

However, when looking at directory paths I saw this:

C:\Users\Mike_2\Desktop\Games

I created the Games folder on my desktop but I don't have a username of Mike_2 that I created.

Here's a screenshot of my Users folder:

"Default" is 0 bytes

"IUSR_NMPR" says Folder is Empty

"Jill" is 0 bytes (which can't be true - she's copied her music to her account)

"Mike" is 177KB

"Mike_2" is 22.2GB

"Public" is 216MB

What is going on here? Why isn't my admin account listed and what are these other accounts? Why did "Mike_2" get created, why does my wife's say 0 KB?

Is this going to impact anything or am I just confused here?

Can I just copy everything from Mike_2 to Mike without problem?

I am not looking too positively upon Vista yet. I wish I had stuck with XP for a few more years before switching.

Default is just a blank user. When you go to new user, the Default user is used as a template.

IUSR_NMPR says Folder is Empty. This is probably because you do not have access to the folder. It has a password on it, and you cannot see inside of it, or the size of it.

Jill is 0 bytes - Same as above. Password Protected.

Mike_2 is probably created because you have created a second account with the name Mike. I would back up your files and delete both and re-create it.

You're just confused. I dont see anything wrong.

Not exactly. I would make a backup, and then copy the important files to a CD or different location and delete both accounts and re-create it.
