justalice
Hi ... My resolution setting is way to big in safe mode , I can't run any of the spyware programs , I have the ATI 9800 pro (128) card , I do have the latest driver install , I'm running xp pro retail sp2 , Any idea what I can do ? Thanks
Alan2273
Safe mode only loads basic drivers, and the screen resolution is set at 640--480, this gives you very large3 icons but a workable desktop.

Yeah I kind of knew that but before I made this clean reinstallment of xp ? I didn't have that issue before , I guess the display driver was working back then in safe mode , Oh well, Thanks for your thoughts
mcb2001
usually your able to set the screen resoulution to 1024*768 in safe mode (sometimes you can't though) at the control panel. In case you cant, cant you just open the spyware scanner, then right click the icon on the task bar, select move, and move it out of the screen, so the "start scan" button appears, and you can do a scan?
