cliffordian Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 i have a problem with my xp home , i cannot open control panel anymore/computer pauses taskbar and icons disapear/then they come back but no control panel ,same thing happens if i try to open my computer so that i can run scandisk ,cannot get to tools ,any ideas what i can do? TJolly Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 Hi cliffordianHave you tried using system restore and rolling back to when everything was ok.Goto Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore. Click on 'restore my computer to an earlier time' and click next. Choose a date when everything was ok and click next. Follow the on screen instructions. This process can be reversed.
