zombienation Posted March 23, 2007 Report Share Posted March 23, 2007 hello guys...i hope someone out there is a lifesaver because i need it.have been messing around with my work laptop and have accidentally deleted the DOMAIN field option from the Windows XP Log On pad.all i have now is just my USER NAME and PASSWORD but because my workplace has assigned a domain to me, it can't recognise my logon.have tried to reactivate the domain field through safe mode but doesn't seem to give me the option. is there an easy way around this? p.s. that'll teach me to mess around with company property eh?thanks in advance for any help.brett Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If so, you may need to join your userid back to the domain. You will need a network admin password for this.There are other people here who know more about networks than me; just wait a while longer if above is not the solution (after all, it's weekend now).
