blueLiquid
I'm currently experiencing some trouble with a windows 2003 (SP2) server. My setup consists of three servers and a single client. One of the servers is configured as an AD-controller, and the other servers are as follow: a file-server, and a server doing absolutely nothing. All of them have joined the domain. On the file-server an application has been installed. The folder is shared, and permissions for a user (+ administrators) has been assigned. If I log in to the client (Windows XP), through the domain, I'm able to browse the contents of the application that has been shared on the file-server. Now the problem arises. If I log in to the third server - the one doing nothing, again through the domain with the user in question, I'm able to browse the folder, but NOT execute the application binary. There seem to exist a difference between the server installation (Windows 2003 SP2 server) and the client installation (Windows XP SP2). How am I to go about fixing this? Thanks in advanceRegards, M.
