Clustering for Home Directory Servers

Hi folks,

I need to provide a high availability file server / home directory server solution but clustering has some limitations and/or the design of the home directories is limiting.

I have roughly 60,000 shares that need to be hosted (profile and home directories) but no high availability solution exists for servers hosting this many shares.

I'm looking at MS Clustering and DFS. I have 140,000 users using roaming profiles and roaming home directories.

Any ideas?
