-pops- Posted March 29, 2007 Report Share Posted March 29, 2007 You can increase the temperature limit settings in the BIOS but you would be better improving the cooling in the machine.First of all clean away accumulated dust and grime (I achieved a 10 degree drop in hard-work working temperature by doing this in one of my machines) then, if that doesn't achieve what you want, consider improving the air flow by installing extra fans.One thing not to do is operate the machine with the case removed. A computer case should be designed such that, with the right forced ventilation installed, the optimum airflow over components is with the case ON.
