cityzenn Posted April 5, 2007 Report Share Posted April 5, 2007 I have an old Dell Laptop. Latitude CPT. I can't log in to Windows (2000 Pro) from any BOOT sequence. What I get is..Log In box (which accepts my password) THENLoading SettingsApplying SettingsSaving SettingsTHEN back to the Log In Box!So after I try to Log In several times, the only option I have is to shutdown. In Safe Mode or DOS mode it still happens and Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work. pa1916 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 Your W2000 sounds corupt it's a full reinstall,don't know what you mean by DOS W2000 and WXP are not a DOS system.Sorry to say you will have about 70 updates hope your on broadband.
