page Posted April 16, 2007 Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 Hi,My dell notebook have 80GB, I partition 40GB on C: drive runing WinXP Pro and partition the remaining to D: drive.I'm interested to try out Vista on my current system.Can I intall Vista after I reformat my D: drive to NTFS again as they are some data?Will that happen to make my system dual-boot with selection of XP and Vista with such a simple setups?Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pa1916 Posted May 9, 2007 Report Share Posted May 9, 2007 Never worked for me,with vista it puts your present WXP as old system file i could never access it.However it did work using two Hard Drives,but i got fed up with it and went back to my trusted W2000 Vista to me is to flashy for what i use it for.
