I must say that I like this much more than VMware - and it's free!However, one problem: copy from the VPC system and paste to the host system is stupidly complicated.you have to select your text (or whatever) on the VPC systemquit the VPC system (Alt key)on the VPC window click Edit-Copynow you can paste it in the host systemThis is very stupid and almost unworkable. (I need to set up a system for someone who must copy lots of text from a Japanese dictionary in VPC to an application on the host Windows.)When using Remote Desktop to work on a remote server, there is a tiny startup app called rdpclip.exe that allows copy/paste between the Remote Desktop window and the local host. Isn't there anything that would allow the same for a VPC session?This time I goooooooooooooooooooogled first, but found nothing useful. Today it worked all of a sudden - Ctrl+C on VPC; change to host side and CTRL+V would correctly paste the copied VPC content.What happened since yesterday: I installed the Virtual Machine Additions, which (according to VPC Help) contains Clipboard Sharing.How very, very easy things are now... I have been unhappy with VMware for a long time, for two reasonsBorland Delphi seems to be unable to link successfully under VMware. It doesn't produce an error, but the resulting executable is not executable! I don't know who's fault this is, but at the end VMware was useless to me.One day, when starting a VMware session (version 4), it gave me a pop-up that a newer version was available for download. Naturally I clicked on the link, downloaded and installed it, hoping that maybe the above problem could possibly be solved. Guess what: when trying to start the newly installed version ( 5 ), it told me that my license is not valid for this version! Bye bye VMware - this is not the kind of business practice I am used to deal with!VPC on the other hand is free, and works flawlessly (so far).
