I have a Mac Book Pro and recently installed Windows XP via the Boot Camp program. This lets me run Windows XP and Mac OS Tiger (or whatever the current cat is) on the same computer. When I amusing Mac OS, the Wireless connection works just fine. When I run Windows XP, it does not always "notice" the wireless network, and when it does, it will not let me connect. I was a long time PC user, and I just do not understand why I always have these sort of problems with Windows but not with Mac Os. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! What I had to do was go into my router, create a new key under WEP-128 by using a thirteen character passphrase. I then went to my MacBook running Boot Camp, opened up the wireless properties, added a network with my SSID and told it to use WEP and entered the thirteen character passphrase there.
