That's not funny............. were I work we use this massive mainframe data base... for stuff!! It is my job to teach newbies how to use it, well, that and other stuff too but it takes about 13 weeks altogether. Anyway.. we don't have speakers on the monitors cos we don't need em but they do beep at you if you hit a wrong key or try to move on without completing a specific field etc. So to get to the point... I had a very nice lady who was a lot of hard work and this particular day she couldn't get the hang of what she was supposed to be doing.... so I am stood there trying to see where she is going wrong and the monitor is beeping away like mad and she is huffing and puffing....... I am saying 'oh look...that field is highlighted, you must have hit enter by mistake' and she is saying I didn't touch anything and was adamant that she didn't do anything!! But the cursor is flashing away like mad and she is hitting enter instead of the arrow key and the bloody thing is beeping away like mad...... the others in the class are sniggering rather loudly and she still refused to understand that she was hitting enter!!! Arggg...... how I didn't slap her I will never know!!!

After 18 years of working for an absolute pig, I finally flipped after he had been on the telephone one friday evening for over an hour. I had a nervous breakdown and had to pack up work 18 months early. I hated him at the time, but looking back, I have had 18 months of extra life I enjoy retirement so much. During those 18 years, there were four or five reps came and went in the north of the country, and the same in the south. Two women in the office had breakdowns, and the turnover of people in the factory defied belief. The MD in Germany however thought the sun shone out of his ass.
